Jury service. I’ve done it twice now and anyone else who’s had the pleasure of serving Her Majesty’s Criminal Service will concur that there is a lot of waiting around. They advise you in the literature you receive to bring a book. I read two in my two weeks. Other people chatted, played games on their phones or even played chess.
One young man on my jury service would get out his sketch book at every opportunity and carefully work away at a beautiful illustration. The quality of drawing was excellent. I asked him about his work, we got chatting and I found myself asking him if he’d be interested in producing a range of cards for my shop. Funny where you meet people. You never know where the next connection you will make might be. Jordan’s talent is obvious and I’m delighted to be promoting it through Know & Love.
