Molten 1090's signature aesthetic—combining hot handblown glass with precious metals. Each piece we design and make is inspired by the elements.  

Laura and Emily Smith are the sister-and-sister founders of Molten 1090. They run the company side by side from their East London studio—by way of Bermuda—where the two were born and bred. 

The form of our handblown glass FLECK vase embedded with silver flecks is inspired by the landform of a volcano. Designed for everyday use to brighten your home with fresh flowers and equally gorgeous, we love using our vases with our favourite dried flowers so they can be on display and enjoyed all the time.

Each piece from the FLECK collection is handblown giving a distinctive life of its own. While not bespoke in the technical sense every bowl, tumbler and vase is one-of-a-kind.
